Select size on detail page > copy ASIN from URL and search for SKU
- Open relevant template
- Change Product ID from UPC to ASIN
- Select size column > Convert to text > Reenter size info with [‘] before size
- Tip: Often the issue is that the size was entered in date format
- Change from ‘PartialUpdate to Update’
- Note: Remember to add price if missing
- Tip: Step 3 is necessary in order to change the Product ID
- Reupload to Amazon
- Wait for 1-15 minutes > Perform hard refresh > Confirm that size is fixed
- Tip: A hard refresh clears the browser’s cache for a specific page, forcing it to load the most recent version
Advanced Troubleshooting Steps:
- If this isn’t successful:
- Contact Amazon to correct size, see below example:
- Hello, for ASIN [B07NHGMPWH] the size name was entered in correctly on my end and is appearing so in the backend as [‘7/8’]. However, the size is appearing incorrectly on the product detail page; in date format [(8-Jul)] rather than in text format [(7/8)]. Please change the size name to correctly display "7/8" instead of "8-Jul". Thank you.
- If Amazon requests manufacturer proof:
- Create MCF order to the office or ask Leyda if item is in Moonachie
- Take pics:
- Product, size, brand, tags
- Respond to case with photo proof
- If Amazon still won’t change:
- Call Amazon
- Tell them "This is an urgent matter. I would like to please escalate this case to the In-House Catalogue Team, also known as the Captive Catalogue team."
- Clearly explain the issue and how it isn’t our fault, and ask the Captive Team to fix the issue
